Job Objective
Lead, optimize, and strategically oversee the operational and production activities of the electronics manufacturing plant. The primary objective is to guarantee maximum efficiency, quality, profitability, and achievement of the company’s financial and operational goals while maintaining high standards of safety, organizational culture, and excellence in customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Operational Management: Direct and coordinate Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Engineering departments (Testing, Processes, NPI/New Product Introduction, and Continuous Improvement).
- Financial Strategy and Budgeting: Strategically design, structure, and defend the plant’s operational budget, ensuring strict control of the P&L (Profit and Loss), operating costs, and waste reduction programs.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate a total workforce of 250 employees and directly lead 8 department managers, fostering a high-performance environment, talent development, and collaborative work.
- Process Control and Assembly Chemistry: Oversee the technical operation of production machinery and ensure the proper handling of specialized chemical supplies for the assembly of specific electronic products.
- Standards and KPIs Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with delivery goals (OTD), quality, productivity, safety, and international regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949).
- Continuous Improvement and Quality: Implement and sustain manufacturing methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Ishikawa Diagram, Kaizen, and TPM; for root-cause problem solving and process optimization.
- Strategic Relationships and Travel: Collaborate actively with General Management and key customers, with availability for occasional travel to corporate/customer facilities in Atlanta, USA (~5%).
Candidate Profile
Academic Requirements and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA in Operations is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Operations Management, Engineering, or Production roles within the electronics manufacturing / EMS industry.
- Languages: Fluent/Advanced English (100% essential for corporate reporting and international meetings).
- Documentation: Valid US Visa and Passport (available for travel).
Technical Knowledge and Certifications
- Solid understanding of financial statements, operational budgeting, cost structures, and P&L management.
- Advanced proficiency in analytical tools (Advanced Excel, Ishikawa Diagram, problem-solving methodologies).
- Hands-on experience in electronic assembly processes, SMT/AFT machinery, electronic testing, and associated chemical components.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial quality standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949.
- Desirable Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or PMP certification.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 MXN gross per month.
- Annual Bonus: 15% of the annualized salary tied to global and operational results (paid in April).
- Savings Fund: 13% (capped by law).
- Grocery Vouchers (Vales de Despensa): $3,500 MXN per month.
