Our client offers high-tech monitoring and automation systems for any growing environment. Their solutions make it possible to analyze, manage, and optimize all companies’ processes for specific purposes, regardless of the conditions of the crop, company, or the climate.

This is a medium-term strategic position intended to take charge of all of Mexico.

Requirements:

  • Fully bilingual: English and Spanish.
  • Willing to travel 50% or more of the time even abroad Mexico (twice per week).
  • US visa.
  • Degree in electronics, mechanical, agronomy, chemical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Over 5 years of sales experience in the protected horticulture industry WITH HIGH-TECH GREENHOUSES.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and convey the complexities of horticultural products from a technical standpoint.
  • Experience in identifying improvement opportunities in cultivation processes and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Successful management of large-scale sales projects and establishment of long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Specialized technical knowledge in electronics, mechanical, chemical, or mechatronics as applied to protected horticulture.
  • Analytical skills to understand client needs and offer personalized solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and product benefits.
  • Results-oriented, with the capability to identify business opportunities and close successful sales.
  • Proactive, creative, and able to work in a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft (Office, Word Power Point, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Excellent knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture and horticulture market in Mexico, Canada or the US is a BIG PLUS.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and meet sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners within the area.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports detailing sales performance, market conditions, and potential challenges.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for partners and dealers to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets related to sales activities, ensuring costs are controlled and effective use of resources.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise in the sales process, finding solutions that best serve both the company and its clients.
  • Constant Visits to End customers, to listen to their needs, look for new opportunities, new projects, and obtain new business opportunities.
  • Visit, explain and closing of contracts for IIVO connect, IA algorithms, as well as new services fees added or needed for/by the customer.

Economic Proposal:

  • Monthly Salary $65,000.00 Gross (willing to negotiate)
  • Mexican law benefits
